ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT (EIA OVD)
SYVASH WIND FARM – SYVASHENERGOPROM LLC

SyvashEnergoProm LLC is preparing a statutory EIA OVD report for the Syvash wind farm including public consultation. The EIA OVD is announced in local newspapers and scope set by Kherson Regional State Administration. The next step is to disclose the preliminary EIA OVD report for 30 days on NBTs website and publish a non-technical project description in a local newspaper. 

 

Project description

SyvashEnergoProm LLC (SEP)will construct and operate a wind farm with an initial capacity of 125 MW (phase one)and the potential to be expanded to 250 MW (phases one and two) located in Southern Ukraine (the “Project”). SEP is a special purpose company incorporated in the Ukraine and created to own, construct and operate the wind farm. SEP is owned by East Renewable Energy AB which is majority owned by NBT AS of Norway.

 

The Project will help support the development of renewable energy in Ukraine and the overall decarbonisation of the energy sector.

There will be held a public consultation regarding the project in start of August. Time and place will be announced on the website and in a local newspaper.
